Delete Your Account

1. Before you delete

• If you want a copy of your information, use “Export my data” in the app’s Privacy centre first. After deletion there is nothing left to export.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Cancel it in your store account, or you will keep being billed for a plan you can no longer use.
• Deletion applies to every device signed in to the account, not just the one in your hand.

2. Delete from the app

1. Open ImpelZone and tap your avatar in the top-right corner to open Profile.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Read the sheet describing what will be removed, then press and hold “Hold to delete” until the bar fills. The hold is the confirmation; there is nothing to type.

The account is deleted the moment the server confirms. You do not need to contact us.

If the server does not confirm, for example because your phone is offline or the request times out, the app changes nothing on the phone and tells you so. Trying again is safe: a retry against an account that was already deleted is recognised and completes. A failed attempt cannot leave you half-deleted.

3. Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have the phone, email privacy@queuelessapp.com with the subject “Account deletion”. Your identity in ImpelZone lives on your phone rather than in a username, so please include whatever you can to help us find the account:

• the phone number you verified in the app, if you verified one;
• the approximate date you started using the app and the platform (iOS or Android);
• if you activated with a dealer code, the dealer’s name.

If the account has a verified phone number, we will ask you to confirm the request from that number before we act, so that nobody else can delete your account. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by reply. If we cannot identify an account from the details you give, we will tell you what else we need.

4. What is deleted

• All your activity records, including the encrypted ones we could never read.
• All check-out timers. Any open check-out is cancelled first, quietly: no further reminders are sent and your group is not alerted.
• Your group: memberships, pending invitations, and the encrypted group keys held for members. Members are removed and no longer receive alerts about you.
• Your memberships in other people’s groups.
• All your signed-in devices and their push tokens.
• Notification records.
• Your phone number, its hashed form, and your name. Your account and household records remain as empty entries marked deleted so that identifiers are never reused.
• All sign-in sessions, immediately.

5. What is kept

• Security and audit records of significant actions, including the deletion itself, with an internal account identifier and IP address. They do not contain your phone number, name, items, or locations.
• Server logs, which record IP addresses and request paths but never contents.
• If you activated with a dealer code, the count on the dealer’s side that a code from their batch was used. The link between that code and your household is removed.
• Crash reports already sent to our crash-reporting provider. They contain device and app details, not household information.
• Information on your phone. Deleting the account does not wipe the app’s local data; uninstalling the app does.

6. What it means in practice

• Printed tags you made for your storage locations stop working, because the key that signed them is gone with the account.
• Your plan ends. A plan granted by a dealer code cannot be re-applied to a new account.
• If you install the app again, you start from nothing. There is no undo.
